Equus 3551 Xenon Inductive Timing Light Best Review
Works well, seems sturdy enough. The only reasons I didn’t give it a five are for a few minor points, one design, one construction. Design…I don’t see any reason this unit couldn’t have been made more compact & therefore easier to store. There’s no real need for it to be any wider than it is in the handle area, & I’m not sure why it needs to be so long, unless it’s to help get the light end closer to the timing marks on some engines (I bought to use on a Miata). Construction…The battery clamps could be a bit heavier duty & have better covers than the typical slip-on plastic sleeves that eventually slip off & go missing. Springs are nice & srong, though.
Things I did like: Bright light. On/off button that doesn’t need to be held down. Contemporary design. Swivel head is convenient. Removable cord makes untangling and preparing for storage easier. Induction clamp seems solid. Case is hopefully a tough ABS plastic that will withstand normal knocks & has no need for silly “chrome” plating.

Coleman CL-100 72000 1.5-Watt 15-Volt Solar Panel Battery Trickle Charger Best Review
I bought this unit for my daughter. She drives about twice a month and for not more than 4 miles or so. About every six months her battery would go dead and she would have to getit recharged. She parks out side with the car facing north so with this unit mounted on the rear shelf it gets the sunshine most of the day and keeps her battery charged. Keep in mind that this unit produces enough amperage to keep the battery charged but so little it would take almost forever to charge a dead battery if at all. It does an excellent job for what it was designed for.The term trickle charger is a misnomer. A better term would be a battery charge maintainer. Maximum output is 1/10th of an amp.

I bought the Dog bone for my father-in-law as a Christmas gift. He’s a farmer and is always working on his equipment fixing this or fixing that. When he opened the box he had a strange look on his face…wondering what the heck it was. As he realized what the wrench was and how many wrenches it replaced a smile came to his face. Big and solid feeling he exclaimed. He got a kick out of the magnet in the handle….”NO more wrenches in the mud”. In all he was very happy with the wrench.
